The LandTek Group® recently completed large-scale improvements to Bergen Catholic’s high school football stadium in Oradell, NJ. The scope of work included the removal of the old synthetic turf field, laser grading and construction of a new track. The field size was increased to avoid using temporary extensions, adding to overall safety and playability. LandTek installed 83,000 sq. ft. of new synthetic turf and added new ball stop netting and football goalposts.

This NCAA Division I Baseball facility project was completed in September of 2016, providing Villanova University with the much needed modernized athletic facilities necessary to support their growing baseball program. The major improvements made to the Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth Baseball Complex afford the Division I baseball program an unlimited ability to practice and compete along with minimal maintenance and/or cancellations regardless of weather conditions. The newly improved facility contains a new state of the art three tone synthetic turf infield. The construction of this complex also involved a sub-base drainage system designed to tie into and work in unison with the existing extensive storm water system.
The LandTek Group® recently completed a conversion of a natural field to a multipurpose synthetic turf field for the Village of Lynbrook, New York. The scope of work included excavation, laser grading, and adding a new drainage system. LandTek installed 98,000 sq.ft of new synthetic turf and added new fencing, dugouts, and concrete walkways. The new multipurpose synthetic turf field includes playable areas for football, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball. A new state-of-the-art Musco lighting system was also included.
The project includes a new building, new synthetic turf multi-purpose field to accommodate football and soccer, new 6 lane running track, revised site grading, new drainage improvements, bleachers and press box, scoreboard with sound system and message board, poured in place concrete retaining wall, decorative pavers, fencing, sports lighting, extensive asphalt paving and extensive concrete work.
Completed in 2013, Phelps Field is a new state of the art multi-purpose artificial turf field for soccer, lacrosse and softball located along S. Ithan Avenue on the edge of campus.
LandTek was responsible for the construction of the stone base/drainage system which lay beneath the new multi-purpose synthetic turf field, and the synthetic turf installation. The project was completed along with the installation of a new ball safety system.
This was the second synthetic turf field that LandTek constructed for the school. Previously, LandTek had constructed a multi-purpose synthetic turf field in nearby Radnor, PA. This field was utilized by its athletic programs while an extensive construction project was on going on their campus which rendered their existing athletic fields unusable.
The project for Roberto Clemente includes a new baseball field facility and related site improvements to be constructed within an existing City Park. Overall improvements include the design of a properly oriented little league baseball field that can also be utilized as a softball field for tournament play. Amenities include new fencing and backstops, sideline and outfield fencing, site grading and drainage, field underdrains, accessible walkways and spectator bleacher areas.
The project for Pulaski Park was a “HAZWOPER” contaminated soils site which required air monitoring and that the entire site be capped. It includes a synthetic multi-purpose field to accommodate soccer, football and lacrosse, extensive site grading, extensive drainage improvements, fencing, netting and bleachers.
The LandTek Group® partnered with FieldTurf on a large scale project in Cooper City, FL. The LandTek Group® oversaw the base work construction of three soccer fields and a multipurpose field for soccer and football. We performed all civil work, including drainage systems, aggregate base work, concrete curbs and walkways. The project was recognized by the ASBA Awards Committee in the multi-field category.
The project for Connetquot High School includes turf conversion of two new baseball and two new softball fields. Between the four fields, over 79,000 Sq.ft of synthetic turf infield was installed. Overall improvements include new perimeter fencing and chain link backstops installed on each field. The work also covered laser grading the fields and a new drainage system.
