Overview

The construction of Truist Point Stadium in High Point, North Carolina, home of the High Point Rockers baseball team was recently completed. In 2022, it was announced that a new Major League Soccer NEXT Pro franchise, the Carolina Core FC, would also call the venue home. To accommodate this addition, The LandTek Group® extended the base and turf surface an additional 2,500 square feet, for a total of 136,595 square feet of multipurpose field. The turf was replaced with FieldTurf Vertex Core.

Fun fact: this is the highest level of teams, soccer (MLS NEXT Pro) and baseball (Atlantic League), that share a synthetic surface.

Overview

The LandTek Group® undertook a significant transformation of the natural grass baseball and softball fields at Seaford High School, converting it to a 219,000 square foot multipurpose turf field. The new facility is suitable for baseball, softball, soccer, field hockey and lacrosse and was reconfigured to allow for simultaneous baseball and softball play.

LandTek installed 40’ high ball stop netting, home and away dugouts with storage, all new fencing, and an asphalt driveway. LandTek also prepared the infrastructure for the new bleacher system that was installed. This premier sports facility will serve the Seaford student athletes and the community for years to come.

Overview

The Town of Babylon’s Venation Shores has new additions to their growing park. The LandTek Group® constructed two new baseball fields with synthetic turf infields. Both fields are surrounded by athletic chain-link fencing and ball stop netting. The fields are connected to the rest of the park by new concrete walking paths and furnished with new viewing bleachers and brand-new sports lighting for nighttime games.

Overview

There are new synthetic turf additions to the Town of Smithtown parks. One at Gaynor Park in St. James NY and another at Veterans Memorial Park in St. James. The conversion of the natural grass fields to synthetic turf little league fields included the construction of a stormwater detention system, flat panel drains, and a stone base with geotextile fabric. The synthetic turf infields were complete with base path markings for multiple age groups. Concrete walking paths, perimeter chain-link fencing and ball stop netting were also added.

Overview

Two of the first turf fields constructed by The LandTek Group® synthetic turf division in the early 2000’s now has received their most recent facelift. Half Hollow Hills East & West got a new synthetic turf surface along with updated center logos and multi-sport inlaid lines.

Overview

Welcome to the shark tank. Eastport South Manor Junior-Senior High School received an upgrade to their existing artificial turf field. The old surface was replaced with state-of-the-art synthetic turf with colored endzones, and inlaid lines for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey and football. The center logo was also upgraded with the largest logo installed by LandTek at 90’ by 60’. The new field is surrounded by a newly resurfaced gray 8-lane running track and is complete with a brand new 25’ x 13’ Daktronics video board.

Overview
The LandTek Group® converted the Perkiomen Valley High School’s sports complex from natural grass to state-of-the-art synthetic turf. The new varsity baseball field included field hockey lines in its outfield along with new athletic fencing and bullpens. Along with the new synthetic turf stadium field the surrounding track was stripped, milled and repaved. New field event areas were added for the long jump and pole vault.

Overview

Curtis High School in Staten Island received a well-deserved facelift. Over 100,000 sq.ft. of synthetic turf was replaced along with a resurfacing of their running track. Clay baseball cut-outs were replaced with synthetic turf infield markings for two baseball fields. The synthetic turf includes inlaid lines for soccer and lacrosse as well as new colored endzones and midfield logo.
