Project Overview

The LandTek Group is honored to have contributed to the resurgence of Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey. Hinchliffe Stadium stands as one of the few remaining Negro Leagues stadiums in the United States, holding a unique distinction as the first National Historic Landmark dedicated to baseball. Remarkably, it is also the sole sporting venue situated within the confines of a National Park. After 27 years of closure, the athletic complex underwent significant revitalization, demanding extensive site work and infrastructure upgrades.

LandTek was responsible for the installation of the new state-of-the-art multipurpose synthetic turf field. Additionally, LandTek installed clay turf cutouts and turf extensions for an alternate baseball field and incorporated new track and field elements. This modern upgrade enhances the functionality and adaptability of the stadium, catering to a range of sports and activities.
