Biography

John joined the LandTek team in 2003. He has owned and managed construction related companies, has diverse experience in large site development projects and has a wealth of knowledge in general contracting. John is responsible for overseeing the management of all divisions within LandTek’s multi-diversified group. His day-to-day interaction and leadership have been instrumental in the company’s quality, timeliness, fiscal responsibility and culture. He is directly involved with purchases of equipment, construction tools and supplies, the safety program and fleet maintenance. John received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Stony Brook University with minors in Materials and Physical Metallurgy.

Since starting with The LandTek Group, John has implemented the use of project management and computer aided design software. He has also researched and implemented the use of Laser Grading Technology, and Robotic Surveying Equipment. These technological advances have helped The LandTek Group stay at the leading edge of design and construction.

John is responsible for overseeing the management of all the divisions within the company. Our multi diversified group consists of; Athletic Field Construction, Natural Turf Maintenance, Synthetic Turf Maintenance, Concrete, Fence, Fleet Maintenance, General Contracting, and Professional Field Care. John also oversees all company purchases of equipment and field related construction tools and supplies. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the company to meet project milestones and owner satisfaction.

Having over 20 years of professional engineering experience in construction has enabled him to design multiple facilities for The LandTek Group, and many Owners and Architects. His valuable connection to many Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and suppliers has been instrumental in LandTek’s continued growth.

John was responsible for managing the field construction for the New York Mets, New York Jets, New York Red Bulls, New York City Football Club, and Brooklyn Cyclones. He was directly involved with large scale construction projects at St. Dominic’s, Dowling College, Stony Brook Lavalle Stadium, and St. Joseph’s College.
