John Nitti joined The LandTek Group in April, 2017, and has been working with companies for over thirty years to optimize their environments by providing technology architecture, infrastructure, and business solutions. John has run several large organizations, including the Financial Services Industry Group for DMR Consulting, a billion dollar firm. He also ran Worldwide Consulting Services for Legato Systems, Inc., and continued in that role after the company was purchased by EMC. There, he turned what had been a support organization that was a cost center into a profitable consulting business.
Throughout his career, John has been a trusted advisor to many C-Level executives, including CIOs, CFOs, and CEOs. He believes in a customer-orientated approach where a “customer’s problem is his problem”. He has run large campaigns to drive multi-million dollar mission-critical solution, originally as an individual contributor and ten mostly throughout his career as an executive.
John has led organizations with a span of control from 20 to 200 people. He has established himself as a leader who inspires his workforce and motivates them to aspire to continuously improve performance. He has accomplished this leading sales, sales operations, inside sales, marketing events and communications, product marketing, market research, channel management, finance, recruiting, resource management and government relations.
John is active in numerous community and charitable organizations, including the Marty Lyons Foundation, which fulfills special wishes of children who have been diagnosed as having a terminal or life-threatening illness. Since 2000, John has served on the Board, which includes his former teammate on the New York Jets and founder of the Foundation, Marty Lyons.
